October 7, 2017 Fall Fest for Education

Mark your calendars for our second annual Fall Fest for Education October 7 from 6-9:00 p.m. Our goal is to raise $20,000 to purchase new technology for our school teachers and faith formation catechists, so please consider a generous tax-deductible gift to the Cash and Coin Drive. Just write a check, drop it in the container and a charitable contribution letter will be mailed to the name and address on the check.

We have many opportunities available for you to get involved…we would love to see as many familiar faces as possible!  There are opportunities to dine out during Fall Frenzy week (October 2-5) with proceeds going to St. Stephen’s education programs.  Several of the restaurants require patrons to present a flyer upon ordering. (Note that the Potbelly benefit on Monday runs from 4:00-8:00 p.m. There are conflicting times on the pre-printed flyer given to us.)

Enjoy live music by the talented acoustic duo O’Hara & Kletzin. Fun Fact…Brad Kletzin is a St. Stephen School graduate! Visit https://www.facebook.com/oharakletzin/ for more information.

Our menu is set! Dinner includes a choice of chili, chicken wild rice soup, or broccoli cheese soup, breadsticks, water, and pie. $6 pre-sale or $8 the night of the event. Additional beverages available for purchase include beer, hard cider, coffee, Bailey’s, pop and water.

While children are more than welcome at the festival, they will probably have way more fun at the Childcare Carnival! Kids ages 2-11 will play carnival games with prizes and enjoy a magic show. Dinner is included…pizza, milk or water and a cookie. $15 per child pre-sale, $20 night of event or $5 if you volunteer at the event.

Please turn in your Fall Fest event dinner ticket and childcare carnival pre-order forms by Monday, October 2 to the school or parish office.

Bottles are needed for the Bottle Pull, a fun game of chance for adults. Please donate all kinds of bottles including but not limited to wine, alcohol and liqueurs valued at $10 or more. Bottles can be dropped off at the parish or school office.

Adult and teen volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks. Please visit http://signup.com/go/xeDiaVN to sign up!

Find us at the Fall Fest table in the Gathering Space after Masses September 23/24 and September 30/October 1 to buy pre-sale tickets, contribute to the Cash and Coin Drive and to sign up to volunteer at the event.
