St. Stephen’s has a dynamic community of both English and Spanish speaking people. We hope to bring everyone together for a fun night May 13, 5-9:00 p.m. We’ll have authentic Mexican food, lively music (Mariachi band from 6-8:00 p.m.), piñata bucket raffle, refreshing beverages, Mexican Dancers from 8-8:45 p.m., and a cash raffle.
In order for the event to be a success, we need you! Please visit SignUp.com for a list of volunteer positions for the evening. Thank you for supporting St. Stephen’s Church!
For parents looking for some adult time, a childcare fiesta will take place in the school. There, the children will enjoy dinner, an inflatable obstacle course, crafts, games and a presentation by The Reptile and Amphibian Discovery Zoo! Dinner includes pizza, milk/water, and a cookie. Tickets are $10 per child before May 8, $15 per child regular price. (Only $5 per child if you volunteer at the event!) Please fill out the order form and return to the parish office. If families prefer, children are also welcome in the Faith Community Center to enjoy Mexican food, music, and dance.
To wrap up the evening, we will draw winners for the Spring Raffle. Over $10,000 in cash prizes will be awarded with a grand prize of $5,000! All tickets must be returned to the parish or brought to the event by 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13. The drawings will be held at 9:00 p.m.
The raffle is truly the bread and butter of this event. The proceeds of Spring Raffle Fiesta, which replaces the Summerfest raffle, benefit the ministries that make our parish and school so wonderful. The goal for the spring raffle this year is $80,000, the same as previous years. Raffle ticket packets will be in the Gathering Space on the weekends and in the parish office during the week. Be sure to look for the golden ticket and turn it in along with your full packet of sold raffle tickets for an opportunity to win four fabulous tickets to see Billy Joel at Target Field July 28! Tickets must be returned by 8:00 p.m. May 13.
