The Feast of Día de los Muertos / Day of the Dead
Día de los Muertos / Day of the Dead is a celebration of faith where we remember and pray for our deceased relatives and friends!
It is a rich Catholic tradition with indigenous roots where we celebrate the entire life of our dearly departed.
We invite you to Decorate an Altar for your loved ones who have passed away. Altars can be set up in the Gathering Place October 22–30 and taken down November 3.
Your altar can be decorated with your deceased loved one’s picture, favorite flowers (traditional flower is the Mexican Marigold), food, etc. Our deceased love ones will be remembered at our All Souls Day Mass.
We invite you to celebrate with us as a Faith for Life community here at St. Stephen’s Church as we start our very first tradition of Día de los Muertos / Day of the Dead!
All Hallows’ Eve Halloween Party
