Becoming Catholic

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process, a faith journey, which prepares interested people to become Catholic. It does this through a series of steps and stages. The process takes place in the Catholic faith community and provides experiences and opportunities to grow in faith, knowledge, understanding, and discipleship in Christ.

Youth Formation

Young people gather here weekly to experience community, prayer, scripture, tradition, doctrine and service. Each year a number of children/teens celebrate First Reconciliation, Eucharist and/or Confirmation. We also provide a special education program.

Adult Formation

We are on a faith journey throughout our life. Our parish offers numerous adult enrichment opportunities to deepen our faith, spiritual life and service. Adults are encouraged to ‘Rediscover’ their faith.

Grow in your faith

at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church

‘Go and Make Disciples.’ We are called to make Jesus Christ known and loved. This involves experiencing the love of God and acting on it. Our various faith formation programs assist parents in their role of helping children/teens experience Jesus’ love for themselves and others. There are numerous opportunities for adult faith enrichment as well. All are welcome.

Share your faith with our children and teens! We invite you to explore your Baptismal call to share your faith. Catechists are needed at all age levels. Support and training are provided. Please contact Maredith Toweh or 763-712-7439 if you are interested or have questions. Blessings to you!

I urge you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, your spiritual worship. Do not comform yourself to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect. ~Romans 12: 1-2
