St. Stephen’s Catholic Church is seeking a Latino Ministry Assistant to provide support to the Director of Latino Ministry and to provide a welcoming presence to the Latino Community of our parish. In this position the selected candidate will assist in the catechesis program, plan annual retreats for catechesis families and support in the lesson plans for the parent catechesis class each week. Additionally, the selected candidate will coordinate youth activities, assist with the parish membership registration process and occasionally plan and teach baptism preparation classes along with a variety of other duties.
If you are a practicing Catholic in good standing with the church and possess good bilingual skills (written, spoken and reading) in Spanish and English, have knowledge of the workings of the Latino Ministry community in the U.S., and have good organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail, then we want to talk with you.
