Thanksgiving Day Mass will be celebrated Thursday, November 28, at 9:00 a.m.

No 8:00 a.m. Mass Thanksgiving Day.  The Parish Office will be closed November 28 and 29.

 

Regular Mass Schedule: Mondays – Saturdays: 8:00 a.m. (with some exceptions for holy days or other holidays), Saturdays: 5:00 p.m. (except the Easter Vigil), Sundays: 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. (en español) and 6:00 p.m. (except Easter Sunday, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year’s Eve/Day).  See “Special Liturgies” below for Holy Day and Holiday Mass schedules.

American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter: Saturday: 5:00 p.m.

Low Gluten Hosts: For those sensitive to wheat, St. Stephen’s offers low-gluten hosts. The gluten content of the low-gluten hosts is 10 ppm. To receive a low-gluten host, please check in with the Sacristan or Communion Team Leader before Mass, and they will direct you on where and how to receive a low-gluten host during Communion.

La Misa en Español: Domingos a las 12:30 p.m.

Nursery:  Our nursery is available during the 10:30 a.m. Sunday Mass for children ages 1-3.  It will be closed on holiday weekends.  It is located in the space across the hall from the Blessed Sacrament Adoration Chapel.

Sacrament of Reconciliation:  Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m., Saturdays 3:30-4:30 p.m., and Sundays 9:30-10:15 a.m. (except for holidays and Holy Days).

Televised: QCTV Comcast cable channel 15 (Recorded Mass of the previous weekend) Sundays: 3:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.

For those who do not have cable, there is a Mass that is televised on “antenna” TV at 11:00 a.m. on Channel 45 or 5.2.  That particular Mass comes from the Diocese of St. Cloud.

Special Liturgies

There are many options for prayer at St. Stephen’s.

Monday through Saturday mornings the Blessed Sacrament is exposed in the Holy Cross Chapel at 7:00 a.m. with the rosary following at 7:15 a.m.

The Divine Mercy Chaplet and Liturgy of the Hours are prayed Monday through Saturday in the Holy Cross Chapel or The Refuge immediately following the 8:00 a.m. Mass.

Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.

There will be NO 8:00 a.m. Mass this day.

The Parish Office will be closed Thanksgiving Day and Friday.

Mass will be celebrated at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, December 9.

Since December 8 falls on a Sunday during Advent, the feast of the Immaculate Conception is transferred to Monday, December 9, but the obligation to attend Mass in dispensed.  (In other words, celebrating the Immaculate Conception of Mary on December 9 is a Holy Day WITHOUT obligation.)

You are invited to celebrate Mañanitas and Mass for Our Lady of Guadalupe December 12 at 5:45 a.m.

After the celebration, we will enjoy atole (a traditional Mexican beverage), bread and tamales.

You are also invited to celebrate on Sunday, December 8 at 12:30 p.m. the Solemn Mass in honor of the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.  
A traditional Mass will be celebrated with Mariachi, and after Mass, we will celebrate with food and fellowship.

Christmas Eve Masses on December 24 will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., and 10:00 p.m.
Please note there will NOT be an 8:00 a.m. Daily Mass December 24.

Bilingual Stations of the Cross are prayed Fridays during Lent at 7:00 p.m.

On Good Friday, Stations of the Cross will be prayed at noon in Spanish (outdoors), “Living” Stations (English) presented by St. Stephen’s Youth Ministry at 3:00 p.m., and “Living” Stations (Spanish) at 5:00 p.m.

Morning Prayer at 8:00 a.m.
Mass of the Lord’s Supper in Church at 7:00 p.m.

Incense will be used Holy Thursday evening.

Following Holy Thursday Mass, there will be prayer at the Altar of Repose until 11:00 p.m.
