St. Stephen’s has a dynamic community of both English and Spanish speaking people. Join fellow parishioners, family and friends May 12, 5:00-9:00 p.m. The celebration will begin with a bilingual Mass in church at 5:00 p.m. Then we’ll move into the Faith Community Center for a fun, festive evening with delicious authentic Mexican food and more! From 6-8:00 p.m. we will enjoy live Mariachi music, followed by the Corazón de Niño Dancers from 8-8:45 p.m. The evening will finish with the raffle drawing at 9:00 p.m.
In order for the event to be a success, we need you! A number of volunteer positions are available. Thank you for supporting St. Stephen’s Church!
For parents looking for some adult time, a childcare fiesta will take place in the school. There, the children will enjoy dinner, an inflatable obstacle course, crafts, games and a presentation by The Reptile and Amphibian Discovery Zoo! Dinner includes pizza, milk/water, and a cookie. Tickets are $10 per child before May 7/$15 per child regular price. (Only $5 per child if you volunteer at the event!) Please fill out the order form and return to the parish office. Tickets are also available the day of the fiesta. If families prefer, children are also welcome at the event in the Faith Community Center.
To wrap up the evening, we will draw winners for the Spring Raffle. Over $11,000 in cash prizes will be awarded with a grand prize of $5,000! All tickets must be returned to the parish or brought to the event by 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 12. The drawings will be held at 9:00 p.m.
The raffle is truly the bread and butter of this event. The proceeds of Spring Raffle Fiesta benefit the ministries that make our parish and school so wonderful. The goal for the spring raffle this year is $85,000. Raffle ticket packets will be in the Gathering Space at the weekend Masses (beginning April 7/8) or in the parish office during the week.
