2020 Need Items
Fund-A-Needs are items that are unbudgeted improvements to the Church or School that would enhance our parish or school life.
Church need item: Create new area of Calvary Cemetery with garden layout, statues, and miscarriage loss memorialization and burial. Our current area is full. This will support our belief that all life is precious from the moment of conception and give families who experience loss a place to
honor and remember. Goal: $30,000
School need item: Every student is in the music and physical education programs. Updating the music program with twenty ukuleles, drum covers, keyboards, hand held microphone and four lapel mics, rhythm and beat manipulatives, and a floor rug will benefit every student, and greatly enhance the curriculum.
The scooters will add many exciting scooter games to our P.E. units and create some new activities to be involved in that are fun and SUPER active for our students.
As a bonus, any funding for the school raised above the music and physical education class improvements will go toward new wrestling mats.
Goal: Additional $8,000 for new wrestling mats.
Fund-A-Needs: If you are unable to attend, but would like to help us, you can donate at one.bidpal.net/ssmardigras or direct your donation to Mardi Gras at St. Stephen’s Church. Thank you for your helping us to reach our goals!
HEADS OR TAILS
Once again this year we will have a fun game – Heads or Tails. Purchase your $10.00 necklace that evening to take part in the game as a coin is tossed to determine if you guessed right in order to remain standing. The last person standing will ultimately win the $500 cash prize. Don’t miss this chance to bet the odds and have some fun!

Music following Live Auction
Mardi Gras has grown to become one of the largest fundraising events for St. Stephen’s parish and school. Proceeds go back into the general fund impacting virtually every ministry within the parish. In past years, proceeds have also been utilized for special needs items including automated external defibrillators (AEDs) for the church and school; new bleachers in the school gym; a new sound system for the school; a kiln for school art classes, new furniture for the parish office; as well as new furniture and toys for the new pre-school; notebook computers for the school, audio-visual equipment for use in the Faith Community Center, white boards for the school classrooms, an extreme makeover for The Refuge (youth room), updated furniture for the offices of the priests, digital cameras for each of the school classrooms, iPads for the school, upgraded Wi-Fi for the church and school, church music area improvements, new water fountains for the school, religious art, and a sport court for the school playground.
These significant endeavors cannot happen without YOU!
So, grab your relatives, invite your neighbors, call your fishing and hunting buddies or get all the girls in your book club and reserve a table together, as Mardi Gras is a fun filled evening that you do not want to miss!
