Community Update Related to Covid-19

Dear St. Stephen’s Catholic Community,

We thank you all for your kind thoughts, prayers, and well wishes. We too are thinking of our community, and ask for continued prayers and patience.

In the spirit of proactive communication, we need to inform you the parish office will be temporarily closed until further notice. We are committed to keeping the community informed, so please stay in touch with us. The staff is responding to phone messages, emails, social media messages, and delivered mail. Access to the #7 parish door drop box will remain open from 6 am until 8 pm as usual.

The liturgical calendar will not change. Our daily and weekend Mass schedule will remain the same as both Fr. Bennet and Fr. Louie have tested negative for Covid-19. Wednesday and Saturday confession times will remain as scheduled and Wednesday Adoration will continue. Each priest, in addition to the parish staff, is adhering to the CDC recommended guidelines and doing what is in their control to stop the spread of the virus.

Per CDC guidelines, we ask that everyone take preventative measures to stop the spread of Covid-19; i.e. wear masks, stay 6 feet apart from others, and sanitize your hands regularly. We ask those at a higher risk of severe illness from Covid-19 to please stay home and watch our social media channels for the latest parish updates and Mass celebrations.

In prayer, we say, "Father, during this time, may your Church be a sign of hope, comfort, and love to all. Grant peace. Grant comfort. Grant healing. Be with us, Lord. Amen."

God Bless! ~the Staff of St. Stephen’s Catholic Community
