The Stained-Glass Windows- A Dream Come True

Welcome to St. Stephen’s Catholic Community! We are so glad you are here. We are also honored that you have taken the time view our beautiful stained-glass windows. The several years-long project is a dream come true!

The following pages in this downloadable and clickable booklet will provide you with a description for each window, as well as the symbolism included. Take your time to appreciate the beauty and representation in each scene.

Please note, this booklet first follows St. Stephen’s story in order of time with the saints and symbols of the Archdiocese. Beginning with page 14, the booklet is ordered from west to east down the hallway along the Faith Community Center.

Thank you to each individual who contributed to the dream, specifically Fr. Michael  Van Sloun for his compassion and interest in stained glass church windows and for spearheading the projects which were completed in phases. Also, with extreme thanks to anonymous donors who funded the entire project, Phil Forseth for photographically capturing the beauty of each stained-glass window, and Gen Meyer for editing the booklet.  Thank you again and enjoy the view!
