Help Build the New St. Stephen's School Playground

COME HELP BUILD THE NEW PLAYGROUND AT ST. STEPHEN’S SCHOOL

On June 12th from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, volunteers are needed to help with our Community Build of the new playground. Volunteers are required to be 18+ years old, or ages 16-18 with a parent. We need at least 35 volunteers for the full day. Please sign-up to volunteer by completing a form via this link.

A Community Build of our new playground with volunteers saves enough money to be able to upgrade the playground with a safer, cleaner rubber surface instead of wood chips, remove the surface curbing that kept the woodchips contained, avoid a yearly wood chip refresh, and do a deep site clean-up of cement footings that were below the surface of the area.

With volunteer opportunities limited this past year, now is the chance to come together and give back. There will be jobs of all skill levels, so mark your calendar now for this exciting day of construction! We are extremely grateful to the volunteers who will help to assemble the playground on Saturday, June 12.

Check out the day-by-day installation of a Community Build here - Community Installation Note, the St. Stephen's Community Build per the video will start on Day 2.

Lunch, water, snacks, and all directions will be provided.

We look forward to the years of joy this playground will bring to the children in our community. Come be a part of the joy and the history of this community build. For questions, please contact Mary Jane Beberg or call the Parish Office.
