SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT SPRING CLEAN-UP AT CALVARY CEMETERY
Join us on Saturday, April 30 for Spring Cleaning at Calvary Cemetery. All are welcome; adults, youth, and Parish groups. Friends or families are welcome to work together or meet and join with new friends. Students in need of service hours are invited - bring your family, too!
What time? 8 am until 1 pm. Volunteers are welcome to help the entire time or as much as your schedule allows.
What should I bring? Please bring your own rake, gloves, sunscreen, and other personal items. If you have a favorite lawn clean-up item, like a wheelbarrow or shovel, bring it along!
What will volunteers do? Volunteers will pick up winter décor, rake and dispose of leaves and other lawn debris, clean and polish the granite of the columbarium, as well as other spring cleaning items.
Can I help in other ways? We need many volunteers so informing others of our spring clean-up is also appreciated! The Parish Office will accept donations April 25-29 of bottled water, individual snacks such as granola bars, and trail mix, as well as fresh bags of apples and bananas for our wonderful volunteers.
If you are interested, let us know! Walk-in help on the day of is absolutely appreciated, but for planning purposes, a response to Mary Jane Beberg at mbeberg@ststephenchurch.org is welcomed. You may also utilize the Knights of Columbus SignUpGenius link here. A call to the Parish Office works as well. Thank you in advance for your consideration and continued support of St. Stephen’s!
